Maribor live je namenjen mestni občini Maribor, ki je po velikosti drugo največje slovensko mesto. Je gospodarsko in kulturno središče severovzhodne Slovenije.
V letu 2012 je Maribor s partnerskimi mesti Evropska prestolnica kulture, prihodnje leto pa bo nosilec naziva Evropska prestolnica mladih. Štajerska prestolnica je ponovno pokazala, da marljivosti in borbenosti ne nosi zgolj v imenu.

The “Maribor Live” mobile application is meant for the second largest city in Slovenia, the Municipality of Maribor. The city represents the cultural and economic center of northeastern Slovenia. In 2012 Maribor and its partner cities are the European Capitol of Culture and next year, the city will have the title of European Youth Capital.
