Maribor live je namenjen mestni občini Maribor, ki je po velikosti drugo največje slovensko mesto. Je gospodarsko in kulturno središče severovzhodne Slovenije.
V letu 2012 je Maribor s partnerskimi mesti Evropska prestolnica kulture, prihodnje leto pa bo nosilec naziva Evropska prestolnica mladih. Štajerska prestolnica je ponovno pokazala, da marljivosti in borbenosti ne nosi zgolj v imenu.

The “Maribor Live” mobile application is meant for the second largest city in Slovenia, the Municipality of Maribor. The city represents the cultural and economic center of northeastern Slovenia.
